Many of you might have heard cowboy poetry before and found it entertainin'. I, on the other hand, don't write cowboy poetry. I write Christian cowboy poetry. Hopefully, you will find it entertainin', but it was not written for that purpose. It was written to get you thinkin' on the things of God: His characteristics and His blessin's.

While at a Thanksgivin' Dinner in Shady Cove a seasoned ol' gal asked me what I did. I told her that I wrote Christian cowboy poetry. She asked me if I had horses? I told her I did not. She was quick to point out that if I didn't have horses then I was not a cowboy.

I politely told her that if God wanted me to be a cowboy, then I was most certainly a cowboy.
